We suggest dark brown or black if you desire to match these plaques with others at a future date. Our oxidation is not a coating or a paint, but an actual chemical change in the metal.

2. Aluminum -- We finish the backgrounds of our aluminum plaques in the following finishes:

All raised lettering, beveled borders and raised portions of the plaques are polished to a satin finish. Bas-reliefs, sculptured borders and round face lettering are highlighted by hand. The plaques are then coated with a clear, durable coating for long-lasting protection.
